Creating a community of empowerment for young women to thrive.
InHer City Chic exists to change that narrative and was birthed from a prayer I made to God for my community.”
Founder of InHerCity Chic
“Communities like Brownsville, Brooklyn - where I was both born and raised, are often only depicted in a monolithic negative light, with recurring news stories of high crime rates, gangs and shootings. These are real communities with real people and real stories who tend to be overlooked and are faced with more obstacles than opportunities.
InHer City Chic believes all women should have access to quality clothing regardless of race, income level or social status. Our goal is to build young women up to be fearless in whatever place she's in - to be fashionable despite financial constraints, to see her beauty from within and express it unapologetically.
We empower her to know that she's still enough when the rest of the world tells her she isn't because of what she doesn't have. We treat her to the things she doesn't easily have access to, but never making these things more important than her.
